About us
"mts Maschinenbau GmbH" started its business activity in Mengen early in 1996. With initially five employees, great enthusiasm and sound ideas, we faced up to the new situation and committed ourselves to gaining the customers' trust and making a name for ourselves on the market that stands for high quality and innovative products.
Development at lightning speed, increasing sales successes and the high level of commitment of our employees allowed us to invest in modern production technologies and expand. We now employ more than 60 employees in production. Ten employees work in development/design and scheduling.
A few years already after start-up, our customers' demands on our product portfolio changed. In order to fulfill them, we restructured the company from being a mere supplier of stacking columns into a general contractor for load carriers. This also resulted in supplementation of the engineering services with simultaneous engineering. In 2003, we added textile machines and special machines to our product range. Our high quality meets the claims and standards of our long-standing customers, including well known automobile manufacturers and textile companies.
We had this quality independently tested and certified for the first time in as early as 1999. Our strict quality and customer orientation – in pre-sale, during manufacture and in after-sales service – was and still is our guiding principle. This also shapes the training of next-generation personnel, to which we have been intensively committing ourselves for years.
We now have subsidiaries both in the USA and India. mts north america Inc. in Detroit successfully
looks after the American market. mts Fabrication India Pvt. in Bangalore is responsible for our
Indian customers. We are consistently building up a global network for textile machines.
The success makes it a duty for us to take up and master the future challenges, particularly those of the global market.
